Greetings gumshoes,

A treasure of great national significance has been stolen. Our suspicion is that this is the work of none other than notorious international criminal mastermind, Carmen Sandiego.

Despite your inexperience in sleuthing, we believe you (yes you) will be able to apprehend her. Just improvise.

Directive:

We have word that at exactly 3:00 pm, on Saturday November 13, 2010, Carmen Sandiego will make a daring (although foolish) return to Downtown Toronto.

We will have a double agent located at the corner of King St. W. and Bay St. Our mole will direct you to other agents we have in the area.

Our agents will give you further information on the whereabouts of Carmen Sandiego, and, of course, how to recover the stolen item of great importance to all Canadians.

Remember: We need many agents on this important case. However, only one can crack it first, and they will be rewarded handsomely.

Spread the word, gumshoes. Let’s catch this crook!

-The Chief
