Gifts for Strangers 2011

After running Gifts for Strangers last year in 2010 we quickly realized we had to make the event annual. It was impossible to keep the joy and excitement of such an event from spreading. This year we were joined by 24 cities across the world in running Gifts for Strangers on December 17th.

The event is very simple. We hope to spread kindness, by handing out gifts to strangers completely anonymously. One should never underestimate the power of kindness. It can create a smile or a laugh from thin air. It can change a person’s opinion or even their view on  life. Like a flame, kindness can spread from one person to another. Changing the world, as if by storm. And like magic, it always manages to make its way back t
