This just in! There has been a leak that at around 11am, the band on stage of the Brampton Farmer’s market, at the corner of Main and Queen, will attempt to sneak a jazz rendition of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up, effectively rickrolling the crowd, and Improv in Toronto has decided to join in and double the fun!
We will be meeting at 10am at the parking lot at the GO station, at the corner of Mill and Church. During this time we will go over the dance once or twice, admire each others outfits and go through some last minute on how we’re planning on invading the band.
At 10:45, we’ll disperse, moving to the intersection of Main & Queen or the Rose Theater, and hiding amongst the crowd. And once the band starts up “Never Gonna Give You Up”, we dance.
Other Side Notes:
~ The dance and instructional video will be presented on the night of September 28th on improvintoronto.com.
~ There is also a farmer’s market going on in the area, making hiding that much easier, also making the trip worthwhile. Who would say no to a fresh pumpkin pie just in time for their thanksgiving dinner!
~ This mission is a little more “Top Secret” then our usual, we want to make our shock factor that much bigger.
