The mission is simple, agents get onto a subway car wearing no pants, just there boxers or underwear. They act like everything is normal, and just sit quitely reading the newspaper or listening to music. If asked about why they are not wearing pants, they DO NOT admit the truth. They will say things like “Oh, I just forgot my pants…” or “It didn’t feel cold enough to wear pants today”.

Finish Line Marathon

For our most recent mission, 20 agents met up downtown with one huge finish line, Canadian flags, a cowbell, and a load of team spirit! We then set it up in front of random strangers to see how they would react! Would they stop and stare? Or just try to ignore us? Or maybe even if we’re lucky, sprint to the finish!?

Repeat Customer

November 28th, 2008 | Posted by Improv in Toronto in Completed Missions - (0 Comments)

One agent enters a downtown Starbucks. They buy a drink, then leave. After they have left another agent will enter, dressed exact same. They will act out the EXACT same routine, buy the same drink, etc. Then leave. This sequence will repeat every 3 minutes.

To begin the mission, we staked out the Hero Burger across the street, for our base camp.

Each agent would cross the street, act out the predetermined routine, and then return.

1)Enter Store
2)Get into line.
3)Drop hat by accident just before it is your turn
4)Ask if the the Vanilla Latte is good.
5)Order it with whipcream
6)In the middle of the order you are interrupted by a phone call.
7)Apologise for the interruption
8)Thank the employee nicely.
8)Pick up drink when it is done being made
9)Ask where the milk and sugar are
10)Notice a placed agent, and walk over and exclaim you havn’t seen them in years.
11)Ask where the the placed agent where the subway station is.
12)Leave

The No Pants! Subway Ride is a prank pulled every year by Improv Everywhere since 2002. The event is a simple as the name, participants take of their pants on the subway. Each person acting as if they are normal subway goers, except for the fact they are lacking pants. This year a number of cities around the US and around the world took part. Including us in Toronto!

A giant game of Where’s Waldo, the childhood book we all love. But in real life! Thirteen fake Waldo’s were hidden throughout the mall, with only one real waldo. Each fake waldo had a clue about the real waldo’s whereabouts, but they would only give it out if the participants completed a task! The tasks varied from doing a model walk, singing a song, finding waldo in a waldo book, complimenting random people, finding the name of an employee in a store, etc.

Check out the video we have put together, and then continue down to see some pictures and read more about how it went.
