Repeat Customer

November 28th, 2008

One agent enters a downtown Starbucks. They buy a drink, then leave. After they have left another agent will enter, dressed exact same. They will act out the EXACT same routine, buy the same drink, etc. Then leave. This sequence will repeat every 5 minutes, and will be filmed secretly to see how people in the store react.

To begin the mission, we staked out the Hero Burger across the street, for our base camp. We met up there, and quickly sent our placed agents over to the Starbucks. Once there, they quickly and inconspicuosly took seats around the Starbucks, preparing to film the whole mission.

One they were all ready the first agent was sent out; Agent Cally. Knowing that I was the first agent, I knew I wouldn’t be receiving any comments, so I wasn’t nervous at all. I did my best to act out our routine as perfect as possible:
1)Enter Store
2)Get into line.
3)Drop hat by accident just before it is your turn
4)Ask if the the Vanilla Latte is good.
5)Order it with whipcream
6)In the middle of the order is interrupted by a phone call. (We’ll be passing one phone along, and the phone will be called by an agent in the store.)
7)Apologise for the interruption
8)Thank the employee nicely.
8)Pick up drink when it is done being made
9)Ask where the milk and sugar are
10)Notice a placed agent, and walk over and exclaim you havn’t seen them in years.
11)Ask where the the placed agent where the subway station is.
12)Leave

75 agents showed up in the parking lot for this mission. After a briefing we made out way over to the subway where we filled up an entire car. We all took our pants off before entering and then got on. Havoc immediatly ensued as people realised what was happening

Real Life Where’s Waldo

November 18th, 2008

We held a giant Where’s Waldo game, within the Eaton Centre! 13 fake Waldo’s were hidden throughout the mall, with only one real waldo. Each fake waldo had a clue about the real waldo’s whereabouts, but they would only give it out if the participants completed a task! The task varied from having to do a model walk, singing a song, finding waldo in a waldo book, complimenting random people, finding the name of an employee in a store, etc.

Check out the video we have put together, and then continue down to see some pictures and read more about how it went.

Dinosaur Rights Protest

November 18th, 2008

Dinosaurs are extinct, but that dosn’t mean they don’t have rights. And we went out to prove it! The goal of this mission was to hold a protest outside of the Royal Ontario Musueum. The basic of our argument was that “Dinosaurs were not being treated fairly”.

April Fools Itch

November 18th, 2008

For this mission a group of 20 agents made there way to Dundas Square. At first they stood around like that had come down to the Eaton Centre for a day of shopping. But things quickly changed. At first it was just one agent who felt an itch coming on and started to scratch his back.
